| CURRENT SCENARIO |
| There is a significant need for hands-on clinical training in India for medical students, post-graduates and also healthcare workers in clinical practice. This has been expressed by several individuals and also explicitly demonstrated by feedback obtained during continuing medical education courses. Currently, medical colleges and professional societies organize such courses probably a few times a year, but candidates have expressed time and geographical constraints and more importantly a lack of hands-on experience in addition to a lack of opportunity in interacting with faculty. There is no focused institute that offers such training. |
