Course Description:
Trauma Evaluation And Management – Basic (TEAM-B) course is foundation skills programme that teaches the basic concepts of trauma management and safe transport of trauma victims.
The course consists of three sessions with duration of one day.
The first session deals with lectures on primary survey, Management of shock and Team approach to management of a trauma victim.
Second session is practical small group learning skill stations using mannequins & models on basic airway management, primary survey and safe transport.
The highlight of the course is real-life trauma simulation that gives the participants and opportunity to use the theory & skills they have learnt during the course.
Duration: One day
Target Audience:
It is targeted at medical students, junior doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff who have a role on treating trauma victims in the field or in the hospital setting.
