Dr. N. Ramakrishnan, Founder & Managing Director, is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine & Sleep Medicine & also has a Master’s degree in Medical Management from University of Southern California. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP), American College of Chest Physicians (FCCM), American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (FISCCM). He has been practicing Critical Care Medicine for about 15 years and Sleep Medicine for over 10 years and is currently Senior Consultant in Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and Director, Critical Care Services for Apollo Group of Hospitals, which is the first and largest corporate hospital in India. He is the brain behind Utopian Healthcare Private Limited, a registered healthcare company since 2003, which prides itself in starting Nithra
Institute of Sleep Sciences which is the first-of-its-kind freestanding comprehensive center in India for diagnosis & management of sleep disorders. He is also the Managing Director of Chennai Critical-Care Consultants Group (CCCG) the first group practice of Intensivists established in 2003 which provides clinical and consultative services for several hospitals in India and overseas.
Dr. Ramakrishnan is a member of several professional societies and holds a position in the Executive Committee of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is a respected teacher and clinician and has been an Honorary Professor at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai (A Harvard affiliated institution) and also at the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. He has received several honors and published original research papers, authored guidelines, editorials and books and has been an invited faculty for several conferences in India and overseas.
Dr. Babu K. Abraham, Director, has a postgraduate degree in Medicine from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College in Manipal. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine in the United Kingdom and is a Member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), United Kingdom. He then pursued fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at University of Toronto. He is currently a consultant in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He is well respected as a clinician and teacher and has authored original publications in journals of repute.He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine in the United Kingdom & Is a Member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), United Kingdom.
Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman, Director, is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is also a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP & American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). He was an Assistant Professor in the prestigious Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which prides itself with the largest multidisciplinary critical care training program in the world. He is currently a consultant in Critical Care Medicine & Academic Coordinator for Department of Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman has completed a post- doctoral certification in clinical education and has a special interest in simulation-based education. He has several original publications including a few on the applications and value of simulation-based education. He has also authored book chapters and editorials.
Dr. R. Senthilkumar, Director, has a postgraduate degree in Anesthesia from Government Medical College, Nagpur, where he was ranked first in the university. He subsequently worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesia, Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He has completed the Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) and European Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (EDIC) and is currently a Senior Consultant in Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
Dr. Ashwin K Mani, Director, is American Board certified Pulmonary, Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is a fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) and American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). He was trained at the prestigious Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Pennsylvania .He has several original Publications and presented many presentations during conference in India and overseas.He is a fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) He is currently a consultant in Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.
Dr. Nithyakalyani P, Academic Coordinator trained in Anesthesia and comes with a rich experience in heading the emergency department in Sundaram Medical Foundation, Anna nagar. She has expertise in conducting training program for healthcare professionals and also served as a team leader for health promotion and health education in schools and corporate world.
Ms.Vijayalakshmi, Nurse Educator has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has worked as a staff nurse at Frontier Life line Hospital, prior to joining to TACT as Nurse Educator.
Ms. Lydia Agnes, Nurse Educator has over 30 years of experience in the field of Nursing. She joined our team in 2010 after having held several senior positions in nursing in India and overseas.
Mr. Arun Samuel Ponnish, Respiratory Therapist, trained at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore. He also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Mr. Gopinath, Marketing Executive, has a pleasing personality and effective communication skills and has over 10 years of experience in Marketing.
Ms. Mary Isabel, Administrative Coordinator, has a post graduate diploma in Hospital Management and has 6 years experience in secretarial work.
Ms.S.Dharani, completed her Anesthesia Technologist at Sri Ramachandra University. And also has a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration MBA.
