Dr. N. Ramakrishnan

Dr. N. Ramakrishnan, Managing Director, is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Critical Care Medicine and a certified sleep specialist. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians and American College of Critical Care Physicians, and also has a Master’s degree in Medical Management from University of Southern California, USA. He has been practicing Critical Care Medicine for over 10 years and Sleep Medicine for over 7 years and is currently Senior Consultants in Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and Director, Critical Care Services for Apollo Group of Hospitals, which is the first and largest corporate hospital in India.He is the brain behind Utopian Healthcare Private Limited, a registered healthcare company since 2002, which

prides itself in starting the first-of-its-kind freestanding comprehensive center for education and training, and diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in India; Nithra Institute of Sleep Sciences. As the Director of this institute, he ensures that in addition to providing quality clinical care, regular training programs and annual conference are also offered under the banner of Nithra Association of Professionals in Sleep medicine (NAPS). He is also the Managing Director of the Chennai Critical-Care Consultants Group (CCCG) the first group practice of Intensivists established at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

Dr. Ramakrishnan is a member of several professional societies and holds a position in the Executive Committee of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is a respected teacher and clinician and is an honorary professor at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai (A Harvard affiliated institution) and also at the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences. He has published original research papers, authored guidelines, editorials and books and has been an invited faculty for several conferences in India and overseas.

Dr. Babu Kuruvilla Abraham

Dr. Babu K. Abraham, Director, has a postgraduate degree in Medicine from the prestigious, medical college in Manipal. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine in the United Kingdom & Is a Member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), United Kingdom. He then pursued fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at University of Toronto. He is well repected as a clinician and teacher and has authored original publications in journals of repute.

Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman

Dr. Ramesh Venkatraman, Director, is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He was an Assistant Professor in the prestigious Department of Critical care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which prides itself with the largest multidisciplinary critical care training program in the world. He is currently a consultant in Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman has completed a post- doctoral certification in clinical education and has a special interest in simulation-based education. He has several original publications including a few on the applications and value of simulation-based education. He has also authored book chapters and editorials.

Dr. Nithyakalyani

Dr NITHYAKALYANI.P Academic Coordinator, trained in Anesthesia and comes with a rich experience in heading the emergency department in Sundaram Medical Foundation, Annanagar. She has expertise in conducting training program for healthcare professionals and also served as a team leader for health promotion and health education in schools and corporate world.

Vijayalakhsmi

Ms.Vijayalakshmi has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has worked as a staff nurse at Frontier Life line Hospital, prior to joining to TACT as Nurse Educator.

Charles danie

Mr Charles Danie G Instructor, is a Physiotherapist who worked at KGF Medical Center in Kolar Gold Fields prior to joining TACT.

Lucy

Ms. Lucy Nathan is a qualified Executive Secretary and has over 13 years experience to her credit. Prior to joining TACT, she has worked in various established firms as secretary. She is committed to providing quality service and has interest in the field of education which has inspired her to join TACT.
