Course Objectives:

On completion of the course, the participants will be able to

  • understand the Peripheral Venous Cannulation insertion,Care,&Complications, know preparation, assistance,
    & care of Central line, Arterial line & PA Catheters,
  • prevention of Catheter Related Blood Stream Infections (CRBSI),
  • safely set up a pressure transducer for invasive monitoring,
  • know the usage of Infusion Pumps,
  • Understand the Interpretation of Central Venous Pressure Monitoring, Arterial Line Waveforms, PA Catheter Waveforms.
