Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- Reveal proficiency in current BLS skills and concepts
- Demonstrate proper function and use of BLS teaching equipments
- Teach a BLS course using the video instruction and lesson maps
- Demonstrate ability allow students to practice BLS while watching the video
- Demonstrate ability to evaluate students fairly and provide appropriate remediation if needed
- Understand and perform defibrillation and transcutaneous pacing
- Use testing materials to conduct skills testing
