TACT Academy for Clinical Training – India’s first simulation based healthcare training centre celebrated its first anniversary on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Nungambakkam.

Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, who created a healthcare revolution in India, Mr. G. Viswanathan, Chancellor, Vellore Institute of Technology, who transformed Vellore into an educational hub and moved private sector technical education to an international platform, and Dr. Paul Phrampus, Director WISER, University Of Pittsburgh which is the largest simulation based training center graced this special occasion.

A 6-minute video about TACT Academy for Clinical Training, which was directed by noted film director Mr. S. M. Vasanth was released by Mr. G. Viswanathan. A live demonstration using SimMan™ was given to emphasize the value of simulation-based healthcare education.
